Our mission is to connect buyers and sellers worldwide and to provide a web site with features that fulfill the needs of both the buyer and the seller without compromising a user friendly site. SITE POLICIES SportscardsUSA has been established to provide listing services to its registered users as set forth in the Terms and Conditions below. By registering all participants have agreed to abide by the Terms and Conditions as it is presented. The Terms and Conditions are subject to modification without prior notice as deemed necessary by SportscardsUSA administration to adhere to accepted practices as applied to or developed in conjunction with the operation of this site. SportscardsUSA is a listing service for items being sold by independent sellers by means of interactive electronic postings and does not hold nor is responsible for any merchandise presented by independent sellers. From time to time SportscardsUSA will be listed as a seller. Terms and Conditions Sellers Sellers must specify such options as category, price, description, starting date and time. All auctions must start and end within a 7 day period. Once an item has been listed it may not be removed unless there are no bidders in which case all site fees will still apply. An auction may be closed early as long as there are no bidders in which case all site fees will still apply. Sellers may not sell any illegal items including illegally trademarked items or any items pornographic in nature. Sellers assert that all items posted on our service are free from liens and or encumbrances. SportscardsUSA reserves the right to refuse any participant who violates any of the provisions set forth in the rules, terms and conditions or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Appropriate authorities will be notified if there is reasonable suspicion of fraudulent use of our system. SportscardsUSA reserves the right to terminate any sell that does not meet our standards or violates any of the rules, terms or conditions of this service with or without notice to the users. All items are to be represented correctly and ethically that are offered for sale. Valid inquiries about items for sale by potential buyers should be answered. Sellers should respond to the winning buyers in a timely manner. (including sending merchandise after payment is secured) Sellers may not manipulate the price of the auction either by use of third parties, acting under an alias, nor may they bid on their own items. Sellers agree to sell the posted item to the highest bidder after the minimum bid, or reserve price, has been met as applicable. Sellers may not sell a submitted item outside of SportscardsUSA while concurrently having said item active at SportscardsUSA . Sellers may not refuse a legitimate claim by winning bidders of the items presented. Bidders/Buyers Only the registered user (one id per person and no sharing of the id, no exceptions) may bid on items presented in the auction. SportscardsUSA reserves the right to refuse any participant who violates any of the provisions set forth in the rules, terms and conditions or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Registered users may place a bid for an item each time they view an auction. You may bid as often as you like on any item. The bid amount shown is the next bid allotted for this item. The system allows you to first preview your bid and then final submit the bid. To save yourself time, pick the maximum bid right from the beginning and let the system confidentially place bids for you. Placing a bid is a binding contract. Once you submit a bid, you may not retract a bid. Bidders should bid only the amount(s) they are willing to pay for an item. Bidders should purchase items successfully bid for. Bidders should respond to the sellers within 24 hours and have payment to the seller within 5 business days. Bidders should not bid on items they do not wish to purchase. Bidders should not bid amount(s) they are not willing to pay. Bidders should not ask the sellers what the reserve is. All merchandise is the sole responsibility of the presenting seller and SportscardsUSA cannot make any warranty, expressed or implied, as to the condition, content, context or the functionality of items offered for sale. SportscardsUSA cannot be held liable for any damages incurred real or imagined as the result of participation in the site auction or site store. SportscardsUSA cannot be held responsible for incomplete transactions resulting from a refusal to buy or sell by its participants. Buyers and sellers must be of legal age and able to enter into a binding contract to use listing services offered by SportscardsUSA. Buyers and sellers assume full responsibility for completing any transactions begun at the site. SportscardsUSA is a listing service and will play no role in collecting any monies or have any involvement in concluding sales or disputes between buyers and sellers for the items presented. SportscardsUSA cannot guarantee preservation of any records at this site nor guarantee any information obtained on SportscardsUSA. Use of this system is totally at your own risk. Disputes Should a dispute arise, SportscardsUSA will not act as mediator between the involved parties. Resolution of disputes is the full responsibility of the involved parties. After all, you wouldn't be contacting the newspaper classifieds to resolve an issue for you. Should it become necessary, you may receive contact information of the said parties from the database at SportscardsUSA. We prohibit the abuse of any member information obtained on SportscardsUSA. Limits to sellers SportscardsUSA cannot be held accountable for any action or non-action of the buyers nor a refusal to follow through to purchase item(s) or returning item(s). It is the responsibility of sellers to collect any monies for sold items from the winning bidders. Limits to bidders and or buyers SportscardsUSA cannot be held accountable for any actions of the sellers nor the refusal to sell or deliver the merchandise. It is the responsibility of the winning bidders to resolve such disputes with sellers. SportscardsUSA is not responsible nor can be held liable for the merchandise presented by its users with this listing service.
